Amsterdam ‘Riviera’ luxury water mansion

This 300m² waterfront villa on IJburg island is ideal for families or groups of up to six seeking a design-forward home base in Amsterdam. The contemporary interior features a cozy indoor fireplace, board games, and a fully equipped kitchen with children’s dinnerware — perfect for relaxed evenings after exploring the city. The south-facing garden and outdoor furniture overlook the water, creating a tranquil retreat that’s still only 15 minutes by tram from Centraal Station. Recent 2020 renovations ensure modern bathrooms and bedrooms, while amenities like a washer, hair dryer, and drying rack add practical convenience for longer stays. The villa’s location on the best spot of IJburg offers easy access to local bakeries, restaurants, and shops, making it a stylish yet functional choice for travelers who want to balance city sightseeing with waterfront relaxation.

IJburg is a modern, family-friendly island district east of Amsterdam’s center, connected by tram and ferry. The villa sits on the prime waterfront spot with south-facing views and immediate access to the tram line — reaching Centraal Station in about 15 minutes. The area offers supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance, plus a beach and nature reserve for outdoor activities. While quieter than the historic center, it’s a practical base for visitors who want a spacious, contemporary home near the city’s museums and canals.
