This modern houseboat in Amsterdam's Centrum-Oost neighborhood offers a unique stay for couples or a small family (sleeps 3). The area is one of the city's oldest, yet surprisingly quiet and cozy, with canal views and a hidden local feel — all within easy walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal Station (5 minutes). The standout feature is the private terrace with all-day sun, plus the chance to swim directly from the boat in summer. Inside, enjoy modern comforts like a wood-burning fireplace, air conditioning in the bedroom, a dedicated workspace, and a full kitchen. The host greets you personally, adding a warm welcome. Note: the second bedroom has a single bed, ideal for a child. No smoking or parties allowed.

Centrum-Oost is one of Amsterdam's oldest districts, offering a serene, residential atmosphere with picturesque canals and historic architecture. Despite its tranquility, it's just a short walk from the lively city center, with shops, restaurants, and attractions like the Anne Frank House and Dam Square easily accessible. The area is ideal for travelers who want a peaceful base without sacrificing proximity to Amsterdam's vibrant core.
