a spacious appartement in Amsterdam

This spacious two-floor condo in Amsterdam’s Watergraafsmeer neighborhood is ideal for families or small groups of up to four who want a calm, residential base with easy access to the city. The home combines old-building character (dating from 1900) with modern comforts: a bright living and dining area, a separate TV room, a fully equipped kitchen, and an indoor fireplace for cozy evenings. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bed and two twin beds, plus a bathroom with a bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. With top-rated cleanliness and a 4.9/5 guest rating, this rental feels like a well-cared-for home rather than a sterile vacation unit. The standout amenities include high-speed WiFi, cooking basics, and thoughtful safety features like carbon monoxide and fire alarms. For trip planning, note that the host keeps one room locked, so the entire accessible space is yours to enjoy. Watergraafsmeer offers a relaxed, local vibe with shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance, plus a large park just around the corner—great for morning jogs or picnics. Public transport connects you to central Amsterdam in about 15 minutes, making this a smart choice for travelers who want neighborhood charm without sacrificing convenience.

Watergraafsmeer is a tranquil, village-like pocket of Amsterdam, popular with locals for its leafy streets and community feel. You’ll find a good mix of independent shops, cozy cafes, and restaurants serving everything from Dutch pancakes to international cuisine. The nearby Oosterpark is a major draw—ideal for walks, cycling, or relaxing by the pond. For groceries and daily needs, the area has several supermarkets and a weekly market. Public transport (trams and buses) runs frequently to Amsterdam Centraal and the city center, so you can easily explore museums, canals, and nightlife while returning to a quiet home base at night.
