Our 3-room apartment is located in a quiet part of Noord known for its red houses, located on the ground floor (small entrance). The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with a wonderful mattress. The second bedroom has a comfortable sleeping sofa. In addition, an extra office is available, e.g. for remote working with fast WiFi. Amsterdam Noord, in our humble opinion, is one of the best areas to feel like a true local! It offers the best of being in a quiet area, but having great restaurants, cafés and activities within minutes.
At de Van der Pek street, just a short walk away from the apartment, you can find great shopping such as Frommagerie Kef and Pek & Kleren, and the local market three times a week. Or go watch a film at FC Hyena and drink a cocktail after. Grab brunch at Café Keppler or head for superb coffee at Zithoek. Dine and feast at nearby hotspots such as Euro Pizza, Café Modern, or Skatecafe Karin & Yvonne. Grab a locally brewed beer at Oedipus Brewery. Go dance at one of the festivals in de Kromhouthal or the darkened rooms of the Shelter. Recover the next day sunbathing in Noorderpark, which we live right next to. And besides, within 5-10 min. you are in the city centre to explore even more!
