The space
We created a lovely Room connected to our house with its own entrance.
The house was newly built in 2017 and is located in a relatively new area in Amsterdam called “Buiksloterham”. It’s an area where the people were able to design and built their own houses.

Our house is located well. Close to the city center in a very quiet neighborhood. It’s not like city noise at all, but there is a road in front of the house. Traffic is low after working hours though. Behind the house is a nice park on the water. So many new things are hot and happening and at biking distance.

The part of Amsterdam where we live is growing very fast. A lot of nice restaurants and bars have started up over the last few years/ months. Breakfast places at walking distance. We advice you rent a bike so you can go anywhere you want within minutes drive. NDSM, Ferry ( to Central Station and city center), A’dam Tower, EYE, This is Holland, Loetje aan ‘t IJand, Beach/Restaurant Plekk and Pek Market are just a few things you could go to near our house.

If you’re interested in rural Amsterdam you can make beautiful bike rides all close to our house. You will be amazed what Amsterdam has to offer.
