The neighbourhood is charming with everything on a close distance nearby, and it takes only 10 minutes by bike to visit the city centre of The Hague. The beach is reachable in about 10/15 minutes by bike. Public transport is just around the corner.

Duinoord is a district in The Hague, which is part of the borough Scheveningen, situated between the Laan van Meerdervoort, Conradkade and Groot Hertoginnelaan. In the center of Duinoord the pittoresque Sweelinckplein is located, surrounded by playful and varied buildings thank to an architectural contest in the 19th century, where each architect had to design three adjacent buildings. The streets are mostly named after musicians. At the Reinkenstraat you can find many cozy lunchrooms and authentic shops. Because Duinoord is located between the city center and the beach, it’s a very popular district.
On the other hand you have the Frederik Hendrikstraat (for locals seen as ''Fred'') which is a long shopping street with all kinds of shops, basically everything what you need for your stay.
