About this museum
Discover Kasteel Keukenhof, a historic 17th-century manor nestled within the expansive Keukenhof Estate in Lisse. While the famous flower park nearby draws crowds in spring, the castle offers a year-round journey through Dutch heritage with engaging guided tours. Explore its rich past and admire the ongoing restoration work on important paintings, the entrance hall, and the kitchen, which preserves its historical integrity for future generations.
Guided tours of Kasteel Keukenhof are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM, lasting 90 minutes. Tickets are €5 per person, with free entry for Dutch Museum Card (Museumkaart) holders. Please note that as of early 2026, various sections, including the attic, are undergoing restoration, so it's advisable to check ticket details for specific room availability during your visit.
Within the same Keukenhof Estate, you'll find the unique LAM Museum, a food-art museum that invites visitors to explore everyday subjects like eating and drinking through an international art collection. The LAM Museum welcomes guests on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can choose to purchase a regular ticket to support the arts or opt for a free, sponsored ticket, though advance reservation is mandatory for all visits.
The surrounding Keukenhof Estate and its beautiful castle gardens are accessible daily from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with free admission, offering a peaceful retreat beyond the seasonal tulips. However, be aware that the estate will be closed from July 28 to August 5, 2026, due to the annual Castlefest event.
