# Heuvelrug Triathlon ## Distances (quarter) - Swim: 1 km - Bike: 40 km - Run: 10 km ## Swim – Henschotermeer - One loop around the island in the Henschotermeer. - Shallow lake with a short underwater ridge where athletes briefly wade. - Lifeguards on boards provide safety. ## Bike – Utrechtse Heuvelrug - 3 km approach to the Maarnse Grindweg, then a 16 km loop. - Climbs: Ruiterberg (~55 m) and Hoogstraat (~45 m). - Quarter distance: 2 laps, then back to transition. - Several turn‑arounds: keep De Heygraeff 2, 3931 MK Woudenberg, Nederland, De Heygraeff Hen
